‘SDGs Builders’ is a project group of the Career Development Center (CDC) in Mason Korea that collaborates with international organizations to study the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to help achieve them. On November 19, 2022, they hosted the 'K-SDGs Forum' at Mason Korea to celebrate the completion of the six-month-long 'K-SDGs Builders Mentoring Program' which provided high-quality educational opportunities in English to underprivileged middle and high school students in Incheon. This year, they plan to create a game related to SDGs by collaborating with G-nonymous, a game-creating RSO in Mason Korea, to present it at the World Food Forum in this fall. ‘The Voice’ interviewed the members of ‘SDGs Builders’ to explore more on their project plans.

Additionally, on April 27th, another event titled ‘A World of Flavors’ gathered students to talk about their hometown and diverse cultural backgrounds. ‘SDGs Game’ is the new main project of 2023 ‘SDGs Builders’ that works on creating a game related to SDGs with MK RSO G-nonymous and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). FAO is a specialized agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to defeat hunger. ‘SDGs Builders’ sets ‘biosecurity’ as the theme of the game to help farmers learn how to prevent the damage of various harmful viruses that impact livestock. Their goal for this project is to finalize the game before the World Food Forum in 2023 Fall to promote and present their special game.
The ‘SDGs Builders’ is trying to identify issues and challenges related to the SDGs, and to raise public awareness of SDGs through various programs and campaigns aimed at addressing these problems. They are also conducting various approaches to make it easier for the public to access the goals.
